If you fancy a night of laughs, join our CitySocialising crowd as we head to the Frog & Bucket, Manchester's original comedy club, for an evening of being entertained by the best in comedic talent.
Priding themselves on developing some of the best comic talents on the circuit, their amateur comedian Beat the Frog night regulars have included Dave Gorman, Peter Kay, Caroline Aherne and Johnny Vegas to name just a few.
Tonight's Big Value Thursday night however will see us being entertained by four comics from the national and international circuit, one of The Frog & Buckets fabulous comperes, and a disco with DJ Sam the Man 'till 1am if we want to stay on afterwards and shake our thang!
We'll all be meeting up first at nearby bar XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) for a pre-show drink or two and a chance to grab a bite to eat (optional).
One of our hosts will be at a reserved table there when you arrive to welcome and settle you in to the evening and we'll have an hour to chat, relax and socialise together before heading over to the Frog & Bucket when the doors open at 7.30pm.
It's set to be a top night so we hope you can make it!

If you're up for a Friday night of CitySocialising, drinks and dancing, join us as we head to XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking), Manchester's finest and funkiest cocktail lounge, music venue and the the number 1 place to be on a Friday night!
With a New York twist, Manchester's XXXXX bar itself is multi-tiered, with a cosy mezzanine above the entrance way, a large bar and fabulous low slung sofas, with separate raised seating and eating areas. It's a place to relax, unwind and get playful!
With a great selection of beers, wines and a cocktail menu to die for, there's plenty to see and keep us entertained!
After meeting for drinks upstairs, we can then later head downstairs to their own basement club which is also the venue of choice for Manchester's party crowd... when daylight falls and the lights come up, the DJ's and dancers take the floor, creating a buzzing atmosphere in one of the most unique micro-clubs around. The music on a Friday is provided by DJ Clark Kent (of Sankeys fame) and provides a perfect combination of classic & new funk, disco, latin and jazzy grooves.
Upon arrival at XXXXX (full details to view upon booking) one of our hosts will be at a table when you arrive to welcome you and settle you in to the evening.
We'll have a couple of hours upstairs to relax, chat, socialise and have fun getting to know everyone before heading downstairs when everyone feels the time is right to get their groove on!
Entry is free. Open till 2am.

If you fancy doing something a bit different this Sunday afternoon, come with us as we head off to the Manchester Museum and take a relaxing look through the ages of science, history and culture. Splitting the museum into various sections, we can look at the history and background of Animal life, Archaeology, Archery, Human Remains, Live Animals, Living Cultures, Money, Plants, Pre-Historic life and Rocks and Minerals. Also on display is one of the largest exhibitions of Egyptology in the whole of the UK and it really isn't something that you are going to want to miss!
We'll be able to take it at our own pace and marvel at all the wonders of the world in one afternoon!
We will first be meeting up for a leisurely lunch and a drink or two at XXXXX (full details available to view upon booking) where one of our hosts will be expecting you when you arrive.
We'll have an hour and a half to chat and socialise together, before heading off to the Manchester Museum for around 2pm.
And once the Museum closes or we have finished looking around we'll be free to head to another pub in the nearby area to continue with a Sunday afternoon of drinks and laid-back socialising.
Entry to the Museum is free. The Museum is open till 4pm.
