MFDF’s culinary celebrations are set to culminate with a three-day extravaganza of fine food, bespoke beers and entertainment. The Festival Finale Pavilion will take shape in Albert Square, where a selection of top city eateries, local ale producers and musicians will gather for MFDF’s concluding days and provide a buzzing venue for all to enjoy.

Among the featured events will be the return of the prestigious Greater Manchester Ale Festival – which will see the crowning of Manchester’s Ale of the Year and the People’s Pint. MFDF is also excited to present its very own Oktoberfest - which promises to be the ultimate celebration of German beer. Those with a sweet-tooth disposition should also look out for the special Chocolate Day event taking place here as well as the Birdhouse Cake Sale!

The restaurants who are exhibiting the always tempting and tasty food samples and specialist menus include -

Ning
Zouk Tea Bar & Grill
Wagamama
Tampopo
Bluu
Linen @Casino 235
Rice Flame Grill
The Ostrich Burger Company
The Tibetan Food Company
Intafood.com
Southern Eleven
Chaophraya
and - City Inn

We'll be meeting for a coffee at the close by Rain Bar before heading round the corner to take in all the delights of the festival - just make sure you bring plenty of bag space for the cake tent :))

Have a great day!

We'd love you to join us and meet a great new crowd in your city. And don't worry if you're the first to book, just:
RSVP to confirm if you are coming (if this is your first social please read the Regular Social Notes below) and then:

* post a message on the Comments board to introduce yourself and chat to your fellow guests (you will receive an email each time your host posts something here)

* check the guestlist to see who else is coming and drop your host and everyone else a message to say hi

* After the Social go to "My Social Diary" and, from your "Past Socials" section, earn points for free gifts and membership upgrades by rating and reviewing the day/night and uploading and sharing photos and videos with your fellow guests!

* And of course remember to add the profiles of the people you got on with to your Friends List to keep in touch and invite them to other Socials you attend.

Have Fun!

Regular Socials Notes:

Money:
Unless otherwise indicated, for all Socials you will be expected to cover your own costs, so please ensure that you bring enough cash to cover e.g. your own ticket/entry price, food, drinks, relative service charge etc.

For food Socials one bill is usually provided for the table. Therefore, make sure you keep note of what food and drinks you order and how much it costs as the group will be expected to split the bill fairly at the end of the meal.

What to wear:
Feel free to wear what you want but, if in doubt, double-check with the venue before you attend a Social. Some clubs, for example, won't allow scruffy clothes, and for Outdoor Socials remember to wear appropriate clothing and bring waterproofs in case of rain.

Cancellations:
If, the day before this Social is due to take place, less than 6 members are available to attend, this Social will be cancelled. CitySocialising HQ will notify you by phone or email and update the information here. Therefore, please ensure you've entered your correct mobile number in your Profile. This is strictly confidential and used only in emergencies by CS staff.

Hosting:
The best way to meet the most of your kind of people and new friends in your city is by organising and hosting your own Socials! Plus, we'll reward you with extra points for free gifts and membership upgrades.
